If anyone can point me in the right direction I would be much appreciative.
I have a 98 Cherokee and am having issues with some components no longer functioning.
Here is a list of what no longer works (all happened at once):
-Speedometer (sits at 0)
-Gas Gauge (sits at empty)
-Milage/Tripometer (no power, no display)
-Pilot Light (doesn't illuminate when door opens or when turned on manually)
-Headlight Warning Buzzer (doesn't sound when lights left on)
There may be more but I haven't noticed anything else.
I did open the panel under the steering wheel and was installing a new car stereo (and routing a bluetooth mic to sit on the steering wheel). I don't remember bumping any wiring or anything and I've since checked and do not see anything loose. This has all happened since I was in there. I now have no stereo installed until I figure this out.
Noteworthy that everything else on the dash works, shift indicator light, fuel door open, etc.
Any pointers?
Thanks anyone!
-Peter
