spark plugs

hey guys got a 95 cherokee h.o 4.0 and i got the champion copper plugs from autozone and 3 went in but the other 3 would not go in. i previously had the bosch champion 2 double tip ones and they went back in just fine but the champion ones wouldnt. need help dont know why they wouldnt. old ones went back in without a problem

puzzling..Did you double check to make sure all the plugs were the same? Not so much on the box but on the plug themselves

I was told not to use copper plugs in my xj.

That is odd. 2nd on checking the 1st 3 plugs with ones that no go. Also check old plugs to see if cross threaded?? Sounds like head maybe cross threaded. Spark plug chasers are pretty cheap, then put anti-sieze on new plugs.

As for plug brand. Champion coppers are good. 03+ Jeep use NGK. The rest were champrion copper core. Most Platinum or premiums are overkill and waste of $$.
