What's up with the huge increase in spam lately?

It's annoying as heck, but I'd rather see spam than deal with those pesky Brazilian hackers anyday!!

It is funny though, hacking a Jeep BBS really doesn’t sound that exciting. Though I guess if you're wealthy enough in Brazil to have a computer, but too unattractive or socially inept to engage in the beach/party scene, you probably have a lot of free time.

Terry, is there anyway to require 'new registration' activation to cut down on spammers?

must be a list of forums out there that they have access to. Same problem with my club's site.

I've upgraded to the latest version of the forum software - I hope to got that this makes the problem stop...
