Soft top half doors

Has anyone driven around with out their jeeps soft top and none of the hardware but kept the soft top half doors on? just wondering if they flap alot since there is no frame for them to seal against.

I only have soft doors, if you have the top portion of the door on, they will flap a little, not to the point of being anooying, but why would you have the entire top down and not take the windows off?

I run that way with the bikini top occasionally, on cool mornings or a light rain, to help keep the kids comfy ;) It's not annoying but gets a little interesting in strong winds.

I am going on a weekend trip with a bakini top and it looks like when i come home it maybe raining, so i figured put the top half of the doors in so i have them with me and then put the full top up and top doors when i hit the rain. Sounds like its doable and will try it around town. Thanks for the advise.
