Serious whining & grinding from T-case?

Wow. There's some serious noise coming out from under my TJ while in motion...even when coasting with the auto-trans in neutral.

Was planning a fluid change, anyway, but I'm worried the stupid thing may be getting ready to eat itself. I thought the noise was a wheel bearing at first, but you can feel it in the pedal and under the seat.

Anyone else had this experience, or know someone who has?

Ah...nevermind. Traced the source to the rear diff. Worth it to change the t-case fluid, anyway.
