Securing the back seat

I was wondering what was the best way to secure your back seat when its folded up. I dont know how many times ive put the back seat up so I could fit a few things in the jeep, only to have the back seat fall down and crush whatever is in the back. I really think Jeep overlooked making the seat lock when upright. So what are your tricks and techniques to keep the seat from falling back over?

P.S. I know alot of you will say just take it out the rear seat but thats not something I want to do

P.P.S - I dont know why my post count is 23, I was up to over a hunderd before the site changed around.

Why don't you just take the seat out!!

I am on your side, I leave mine in, But I have not had the problem you do. My idea would be to get a strap or some rope and tie one end to the little feet on the back of the seat and the other end to the windshield tied down, or the roll bars.

And your count, Terry has to re-enter them by hand, busy man you know!

i secure my backseat with two blocks it sits on in the corner of my apartment.

Depends on where you get the Jeep L33t...not all of us have the big bucks, and we buy used.
