Saying Goodbye

The Jeep is going to that great used car lot in the sky on Friday. Simply uses too much gas for my daughter's long commute to work. 3 speed automatic and 4.11 gears do not a highway cruiser make. She is getting a new Ford Fiesta, which even with a payment she won't be out any more money than she is now buying two or three tanks of gas a week. :shock: Wayne the Jeep will be missed (she has names for her stuff).

I will still check in occasionally. Thanks for the help and advice over the years y'all.

Well sorry to hear the (Jeep) herd is thining by one... Hopefully olde Wayne will find a new cozy owner/life. Gas mileage (and comfort) aren't their strong points. When my old 1993 Accord croaked @ 286K miles I computed in my jeep for a while and realized, the mileage and comfort just weren't working for me. Enter another beater honda.... Drop in and shoot the breeze anytime...

Jeeps aren't always practical, I understand if it ain't earning it's keep sometimes you have to cut one loose. I think that if you have ever owned one more than likely you will own one again at some point. Good luck, don't be a stranger. Share what you have learned with others.
