Roof rack

I'm new here but not new to jeeps. I just picked up a 96 xj and my only complaint is a lack of a roof rack. My question is this; can I take a rack off a 95 and put it on my 96? Im not sure how they attach.

It will work, I find it odd that there was no rack though. Was there one on there before? If not you need to put it up there mark the holes and drill.

I found it strange as well. It has no rack and no holes either.
