A fellow jeeper made these for me for $80. They are 4"x4"x.25", so they are tough and cover a lot of area. I've since welded 2"x2" square tubing along the base of the vertical section, so it makes a step and keeps the hilift and trees away from the tub. The bottom section is now 6" across so it's a lot to skid on. The ends of the square tubing are tapered where they meet the fender flares, I'll have to get some pics of the finished product.

I just used rattle cans, it's textured Rustoleum. Keeps the rust down and easy to touch up the scratches. It gets drug over too many boulders to spend much money on the finish

Here's a pic as they sit now. The 2" tubing is not welded the full length, really not needed, so I filled the remaining gap with automotive seam sealer. It doesn't clean up from mud very well, so I'll be grinding it all out and filling in with weld or something else.

No, but that wouldn't be hard to fabricate. You would want the piece that sits in the body mount to extend the full length of the skid, otherwise it'll just get hung up easier.

If you need a good set of nerf bars custom made, give me a shout I can be reached at OBrett13@yahoo.com
I have made many for people on ebay and even for one of the guys on here too he seems to like it quite well! I just recently made a full set for my jeep finally after business slowed down and I had 5 fat guys drunk bouncing on it trying to pull it off of my jeep , needless to say it stayed tough and true!
