does anyone here do any metal work? if so i'd be willing to pay to have someone make me some rock rails for my XJ. if not, does anyone know where i can get some for pretty cheap?

i don't think you're going to find a good set of rock rails for cheap. check these ones out from rocky-road though. i have a set of the step-rails (same as rockers... only they stick out a little further so you can step on them) and have been pleased. the finish on them SUCKS though... so i would recommend putting a few good coats of paint on them as soon as they arrive if you would happen to get them

You wont find a set of rock rails cheap. Unless you make them yourself or have a good friend that is willing to take the time to build them. It is sometimes time consuming, what gets me is the grinding. After putting the time into building a few sets, I understand why people sell them for so much.
