Hey everyone, i had a 1998 XJ w/ a 3" lift. it had 31" x 10.5" on 15"x8" american racing rims(the black ones that a lot jeeps have). i have since sold the cherokee and bought a 2002 TJ. i kept the rims, but the tires were junked. i know 31's can fit stock on a TJ, but what about with a 8" wide rim and the backspacing from a cherokee? if i still had the tires i would just try them, but i now i need to know before i purchase new tires? if anyone has an idea or larger/wider combos they are running with no problems, that would be helpful. thanks.
