Day 1 @ Moab is in the books. We departed Orange County, CA at 5am(ish) Saturday morning and drove straight through to beautiful Moab, Utah. The long (14 hours long) drive led us through Las Vegas, St. George, and Beaver City. Utah has some amazing scenery to offer and sure made congested California easy to put in the rear view mirrors.
We checked into our hotel and settled in for the night.
9AM Sunday morning - time to wheel! We met with Larry and Cheri from Poison Spyder Customs, Dave and Kent from Currie Enterprises, John from SPOD, and other friends and hit the pavement towards Metal Masher. While a very technical trail every obstacle had a bypass allowing for everyone to enjoy the day. The dozen Jeeps in our column made it through the day unscathed - a testament to great driving and great parts.
