Rear Seals

My dealer informs me that both rear seals on my new wrangler 2004 w/ 2000 MIles are leaking. Does anyone know of anything that would cause this other that poor assembly work?

Rear seals as in the rear axle? Good thing it's under warranty.

Water and other contamination can ruin them.
