Question: Jeep KK?

Hi everyone,

Am settled for a short time back here in Las Cruces, home, and saw the site here again and posted a few. I have a question from a long time Jeep guy, me, 49 years and counting, about this new model of 'Jeep'.

This is not a flame or being a jerk at all but I am intrigued, but what are these 'KK's for? I do not understand. (I'm probably too damn retro!)

Thank you in advance.

Robert

I'm not sure if i understand your question correctly. KK is the new body for the Jeep Liberty that came out in 2008. It replaced the KJ body from the 2007 and older. On the other understanding of the question, the KK Liberty is just a Jeep badged version of the Dodge Nitro. It's the more affordable choice below the Grand cherokee but still just as competitive. In the same sense, why would Jeep manufacture a 2 wheel drive Wrangler?, for what reason or purpose would you even think of getting one when Jeep wrangler is the best 4WD out of the box. Well my friend, the answer is, the general public( Consumers) has been asking why cant they get it in a 2wd. For some Jeepers out there, they just want to experience the open excitement of driving a Jeep wrangler on a pavement and have a better fuel economy than the 4wd version.
