Question about old army jeep

I got this email from David:

I have an old Army Jeep, and want to replace the motor with a rebuilt original,
but need someone to do the mechanical work for me, and hopefully get parts from
you.

Can you recommend someone to do the mechanical part, so I can finsh the
electrical and bodywork (ie the fun part).

What model do you have? GPW, MB, M-38....etc..

As far as getting parts for your jeep or having work done look into the Military Vehicle Preservation Association, or www.mvpa.org. I am sure there are clubs in your area.
