I realize there are many treads on this subject but I have yet to find anything that works. So i am asking, no begging for any information anyone may have. lets start from the beginning.
Broke output shaft on transfer case, swapped out with new tcase with sye, speedo no worky! changed speedo senser, still not working realized it needed clocked correctly and bam it works, now to get the check engine light off, p0122, hmmm, installed new tps from Checker, bam now p0123 and runs like crap. now frustrated, possibly faulty tps from checker so returned for new one. bam now back to p0122!!! what the heck!!!! W@$#$, getting mad now, did some reading and possibly just junk material from after market vendor, so went to NAPA for the "better than OEM replacement", STILL P0122!!! and on my third tps sensor
voltage on tps harness pin 1 4.75, pin 2 ground right? so 0, pin 3 5.25.
i dont think its the TPS, I can start the vehicle, pull the TPS plug and no change what so ever. In addition to everything previous, i have now unhooked the clockspring, and motor continues to run poorly, and the code still remains, and abviously the airbag light is now on as well. So disconnecting the clock spring had no impact in the tps code. I cannot even erase the code with my Actron CP9135, It says its erasing one code but when done it says one code still remaings, oddly enough its still P0122. IM LOST
I have also checked all the sensors, and removed the throttle body and cleaned it, i also cleaned the IAC and its ports leading into the throttle body. I have removed all wire coverings to its junction with the larger bunch to the side of the manifold, doesnt seem to have any damage, or melted spots. And now I can no longer even reset the code on my actron cp9135, it says its erasing the code (p0122), finishes and says one code still remains, (p0122)... uuhg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am really not sure what the heck to do, I live in northern colorado and we have emissions. My tags are expired and the town i live in is threatening to tow my jeep. It will not fit in garage so running out of time and hair. i think i have tried most everything but am just at a loss.
Anyone out there that can help please please please. Thank you in advance!
