Painting POR15 inside the frame

I had my 83 CJ-7 frame sand blasted and have been painting it with POR15. Does anyone have any recommendations on protecting the inside of the frame? The Jeep was in NY and had some real rust problems. I want to everything I can to keep it from happening again.

You can use the POR15 in there also. You can also go to your local auto paint supply store and get a few different products that work well inside frame rails. They are waxy or oily in nature and "migrate". That means that you can spray them into the openings that you can get to and it will continue to travel to the unsprayed areas thru time. if you want to use the POR15 ask the sales person behind the counter at the auto paint store about a gun with a long flex tube on it for just such a thing. That is what I use at work after repairing frame rails that have been in a collision.

you can also check out eastwood. they have a rust inhibitor that works better than the por 15 and is a bit more cost efficient. they'll have the tools you need too.

I don't know where you are in NY but when I lived up there in the adirondacks there was this place that did oil undercoating with tremendous results. The only downside was they had to drill holes in certain places to shoot their oil mixture in there. Just an idea.
