oil pressure concern

my oil pressure is really high, like the needle in the pressure gage is all the way to the right. im assusming this is not a good thing. can anyone offer me something about this?[addsig]

unless you ADDED A LOT OF OIL, chances are your guage/sensor is faulty... check your oil level. does the needle ever move? (ex... cold, warm, throttle position's effect?)[addsig]

mine was the same way before the swap, it would sit right around 80 all the time, although throttle would move it slightly, and then when i was about a quart of oil low it would fall to like 20, i just assumed the guage was broken, engine always ran fine[addsig]

My needle is pegged over to the right all the time. I thought there was something wrong at first, but everything seems fine. I just figured the gauge was faulty. The oil level is fine though. I took it in stride since the gas gauge does the ol' half tank trick.

Who needs gauges we you have a Jeep that will go anywhere??
