noob thinking of buying jeep

hi all, i just recently started getting into jeeps and im trying to buy a used one i found one online for 650 and i actually already looked at it... its a 1990 grand cherokee it has 180,000 miles on it the only major problem that me and my friend saw was the main oil seal had a bad leak the body and interior is in good shape...the guy is the second owner...i was wondering if changing the main oil seal on a jeep is difficult...i mean ive done one before but on an acura integra so im not sure if its worse or easier. any input will help thanks

Not a hard fix but you gotta wonder about a 90 model for 650 and they didn't make grands till 93.

Has to be a Grand Wagoneer (full size aka FSJ) or Cherokee ltd (fancy XJ) in '90
