Just last night finished my re-wireing of all my add on stuff CB, Stereo, New interior lights, mounted all new military aircraft style safty switchs on all Off Road Lights. I bought a Sears Die Hard Gold 900 cca 1000 ca dual post battery. All of the original Jeep's wireing is hooked up to top post, and all add on stuff running off side post to an isolation block with jumpers mounted on the fenderwell. The block is running to the battery via a #10 wire direct from the side post on my battery with a 60 amp in line weather proof fuse. From the isolation block I ran inline weater proof fuse lines to all other add ons in various sized wire depending on amps. Everything includeing the relays are now centraly located on one fenerwell so I can change fuses and trouble shoot easly. Now all the wires are chased, all conections are crimped and soidered. Now it really looks clean and orginized. Took about a half of a bushel of unknow wires and old alarm, stereo, and other junk out of there. I mounted an under dash red interior light for the floor board area. The red does not interfer with night vision but allows you to see what is going on. I mounted two bright interior lights on the roll bars and they are switched with the underdash stock lights. New fire extinguisher mounted on the angled roll bar behind drivers seat.
Next I search for Mustang Seats to replace my tires ol jeep seats, and and new bumpers all around out of 2" x4" x 1/4" tubeing with trailer recivers front and rear and shackle and d-ring recovery points front and rear. small light and brush gaurd on the front and swing out tire mount on the rear.
Spring we get a lift and tires. Slow but well planed, and getting there. :-D tug[addsig]
