I got me a new toy today:
http://ww2.parkerbows.com/pb/huntermag.html

Got a pretty sweet deal... $299 for the outfitter pkg, which makes it virtually ready to shoot. I put a "whisker biscuit" arrow rest, and a got a nice release for it.

Spent the afternoon sighting it in. I can't believe how accurate I am now with this thing. They sure have come a long way!!!

Trophy bucks beware!!! :p

Cool, I've got the same bow and rest. Got the same package, and had to add a few $$ to upgrade to the whisker bisquit. Looking forward to season opening Oct. 1st.

Yeah I had to buy the biscuit and the release, plus a kisser button. The price was so low because the new ones are out (this is last years model).

How do you like it Bounty?

I shot it some again tonight. Man this is a sweet bow. I know it's middle of the road compared to that new high-end Hoyt out there but it is a Cadillac compared to what I had been shooting!!!

Yeah I can't wait to get out in the woods. I did find out the harsh reality that I can no longer hunt where I had been. TO hunt in Maryland now would cost me a fortune since I am a PA resident. I never even gave it a thought. Now I have to either fork over a ridiculous fee for an out of state license or find and familiarize myself with a new spot up here in PA.

Not knowing this area too well it may be a couple years before I am anything but purely lucky ;(

Oh well that's the way it goes.
