B'ham Jeeper

Hey everybody! Just joined and just bought my 07, Sahara about a month ago.:D

I live in Birmingham AL. Grew up on a farm and drove my first Jeep when I was about 8, loved them ever since!

So far I have not gotten her dirty, figured I would make my first payment before getting off road!

No upgrades yet. Just stock, but did get the 18" tires and the tow package.

Love the forum.

Nice to have you here Susan, hope you find us pleasant.

Haha wait, wrong forum.

Really though, nice to have you.

Welcome aboard, Susan! Always good to have new neighbors move in! Hope you plan on sticking around awhile.

Funny about you not wanting to get it dirty till you made your first payment! When I bought my '85 Toy 4x4 new in '85, the first thing I did was coat it in thick mud at the lake, then drove it through the drive-thru at the bank to make my first payment on it! Got some pretty crazy looks from the tellers in the window!

Anyway, welcome again. Tell us a bit more about yourself. Where from, work, married, kids, hobbies, interests?

Welcome! I've spent some time down your way in Pratville. One of my best friends family lived there and I used to go home with him for the holidays when we lived in NC.

p.s. try not to take us too seriously around here! :purple:

I was in B'ham before I moved to Huntsvegas. There are lots of places to ride in the B'ham area. For local info look here: www.caos4x4.com
There are some rides coming up at Gray Rock soon. See you there.

Welcome aboard!!!!!! Yeah, when I bought my TJ (the vehicle of my dreams), I didn't wanna get 'er dirty, but, hey........it's a Jeep!!! 6 days old and I got 'er stuck in a mudhole (driver error, not the vehicle). Haven't looked back since!!

BTW.....my future wife (mudwoman) was along for the ride when I got stuck, so it turned out to be a really, really good thing!!!

Like Monkey said, don't take us too seriously around here (except the tech stuff, of course) and enjoy the ride!!!!!

Welcome to the board! Pretty soon you will be looking for places to get'er dirty and only worrying about how to pay for that next upgrade!

Thanks for the great welcome!

I'm 46, work for a Concrete and Aggregate software company here in B'ham as a QA Analyst.

We are about 40 miles from Talladega been a few times, it's great as long as you don't go in the summer! I am glad they moved the August race!

My other problem with getting her dirty right now is we are in a stage 3 drought and I can't wash her

Thanks again everybody....I think I will be around a while :)

Also I'm going to have to re-size all my pics so they will fit

That is a nice lookin ride. I absolutely love that color! Maybe because it's almost the same as my '01 TJ. There are hardly any around town my color, but now that the new JK is out I'm seeing a lot more.
