New Parts for my 98' Jeep Cherokee Limited

Hey guys,

I just recently decided to keep my Jeep Cherokee instead of selling it. Although it is running, I think it needs some serious work to be as good as it use to be. It just hit 224,000 miles and the only work I have recently done on it is replaced the drum brakes on the rear and replace the brake line. What other things should I do on the jeep? It has a slight jerk when I put it into drive and the electronics on the inside don't work the best. Other than those things, what should I get done under the hood to keep it running up to 300,000 miles?

Regards,
Jon

I would give it a good tune up. New spark plugs, distributor cap, spark plug wires, oil change, and possibly check all the fluids just to make sure there clean and don't need to be refilled. Just a few suggestions.
