TJ Rear brake noises

I have a 91 yj that I just bought and cant wait to put a lift and bigger tires on. I am putting suspension lift on. Now my question is at how many inches do I have to strat worrying about transfercase drops, extended brake lines, dropped pitman arms, and angles on drivelines. Are they hard to put on. If its a matter of new springs and shocks my buddy and I can put it on in the drive way. Does any body recommend a certain brand? Skyjacker seems good but I think I will be paying for the name. Whats the average price for a lift. No More than 4". Also rims and tires what size of rims do I need 10" 8" what . I know it depends on what size of tires I want. Thanks for any imput and opinions. This site rocks!!!

4" lift is the MAX you can go with a stock pitman arm, but it is not suggested. You can get a pitman arm from a ZJ from a junkyard pretty cheap, they work great... a far as Tcase dropping... it is suggested for anything over 2.5 inches, but that's an easy job... talk to Tug-n-Pull on the good deal he got on his lift... might be just what you need

I've ridden in alot of Jeeps with several lifts and have found that the skyjacker springs ride very nice. You get what you pay for. 8)

Tj Seats in a Yj?

I have 4 inch suspension , 3 inch body, 2 inch shaks, on my 88 yj (same as your 91).

When you start getting up higher in height you have to start looking at the angle of your back driveshaft.

A transfer case loweing kit only costs about 30$ and should be done with any sort of suspension lift.

If you add a suspension lift I would check with your parts suplier about a slip yoke eliminator for your rear driveshaft.
