Hi I just bought a 79 cj5. Live in central indiana, going to Purdue university to be a mechanical engineer. So the pocket book isn't the fattest but a jeep sounded like a fun project for the weekends. So far I know it needs some steering column work, possibly a swap, some body mount attention, it does have a fiberglass tub, and some engine tuning, it has a 360 v8.
