need tJ suspension help

I am setting a 97 TJ up for snow plowing.Just installed a fisher minute
mount and after asking here settled on some BFG AT's 30-9.5-15.15 tires to
give me some traction.Next thing that needs some work is the suspension.
Getting a big time front end sag with the plow on it. Wont be going off road
with the plow on that's for sure.

What have you seen to level the suspension out? Air shocks come to mind but
don't know about having them on the front. I do some light off roading with
this rig during the summer so need something with road and trail manners.

they make air suspension levelers that have an air pump and u can set ur ride height but its pretty xpencive, i seen it in a jp mag. dont know where to get them tho

have you thought of just adding some rubber coil spacer in the front? they sell them at Autozone for pretty cheap.

I would recomend adjustable coil spacers like these http://www.rocky-road.com/jeepsus.html

You will have to do a bit of spring seat modification but these can be adjusted to even out your ride

i have a plow on my yj... in the rear... i usually run air shocks.. but for the past 5 months, i've been running no shocks at all.. I have a 200 lb rear bumper to help counter the weight of the plow. as for the front suspension... I have 2 rubber spacers which when the jeep is loaded, drop one inch to the axle... thus putting the weight of the jeep and plow on the axle, rather than my springs.. this really helps with the springs and shocks... i don't even notice that the suspension is really stiff because i expect it to be crappy with the plow on there in the first place. at least i know my suspension is being saved
