Need new brakes... argh!

Okay, I have the standard 31" BFG AT's and ever since i've installed them, my brakes have been quickly wearing themselves out. (like they had much life left in them to start with)

I guess what I need to do is approach this from an 'oppportunity to upgrade' standpoint and find out what good brake systems are out for CJ's with "Larger than stock" tires.

I've seen where the parts store had two different types of brake shoes and pads, normal duty and heavy duty, heavy duty is what you need. Get whatever they suggest for towing, it should last fine with 31" tires.

I'm afraid i'm going to need the rotors too.
Mine appear to be getting slightly warped.

The rotors can still be turned down if warped, given there is enough material left to turn down enough to get the warp out.

I put the ceramic type pads on mine. No more brake dust on the front wheels!
