Need help!!

Alright, I had a problem at idle on my 01 tj 4banger. Whenever I would let it idle, the rpm's would start loping and it would just die. I read all about this problem all over the place, so I took the throttle body off and cleaned it along with the IAC with some b12.

Turns out that wasn't my problem because I got stuck in traffic and it randomly killed on me three times. I managed to limp home and worked on it a little bit.

I finally found out that once it gets to operating temperature is when it just kills at idle.(around 210*)

Can anyone identify this problem for me?? I'm out of options!!

I also read about vapor lock, can someone explain that to me also?

Thanks in advance

It sounds like a fuel problem, as to a vapor lock there was a E.S.B by D.C. but mainly it was for the 4.0L. Injectors 3 and 4 getting too hot and vapor locking the fuel rail in that location. I did a small write up in my random miss fire thread. Just look at threads started by me, and you will find it. Second get a fuel pressure tester, you can rent them at any auto parts store. Test the running pressure cold ,just on and off. Then drive it to temp and do the same test, running pressure and with the motor just shut off. To see how fast it drops. My main problem was a bad fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump, pushing air bubbles into my fuel rail.

Thanks for the help, I think I might have found the problem. After driving it around all day yesterday(burnt a half a tank!) I noticed that the temp wasn't getting up to 210*. I let it sit in the driveway and heat up, but it never got all the way up. Well today, it got a little bit past 210* and started doin it again, so I'm thinkin it might be a cooling problem. Ima try and get an electric fan as soon as possible and see if that helps any.

As for the fuel pressure test, I inspected the fuel rain, and there's no place to plug in the line. I have a yellow ac hose and fitting and I know a little trick with that, but there wasn't a place to plug it into. I'll try to snap some pics to see if it looks normal.
