Been there you can get axle mounts from rustys. Or build your own to be stronger. Can be welded. How's the weather up your way. Gunna be up there on Monday.

You could try to weld it but it would just break again. It's just sheet metal anyway. Find some aftermarket ones, most are 1/4" and much stronger. Rusty's is what I run but plenty of others are out there.

Ok awesome, so far it's been a great winter, hardly any snow(knock on wood) and fairly warm, how bout with you?

Warm. Scared for camping season. Not enough snow. Gunna be a ton of fire bans

Wow that's a lot for a couple of small welds that would take less than 10 minutes. I'm hoping you replaced the brackets and didn't pay them that much to reweld the factory sheet metal brackets.

Hope it holds. I tried that with mine and it broke the first trip out. The factory mount is basically sheet metal and once bent won't ever be right and it's hard to get a good bead on it. That's why most replace them with aftermarket ones that are usually around 1/4" plate.

So far so good, had it out a couple times, the welder reinforced it pretty well, so don't think it'll go anywhere
