Just picked up a '95 ZJ and I want to lift it.
Who makes a cheap 2-3'' lift for it? Or is it worth while to
just put it WAY up in the air for close to the same price?
Thanks in advance-- Neal

Trail Ride Today was Great!

How much is "cheap"?
You can get coil spacers pretty cheap, or get replacement springs if you're willing to pay more. In both cases, you'll probably want to get longer shocks, too.

Hey Neal not to give you a short answer but No One has a cheap lift! hehehe As for is it worth it, Well Heck Yes it is! Go for it! I for one love the the thought of a ZJ all about the woods and trails. They get a bad rap but they are a Jeep and I know that they can be made to anything if you are willing and have enough money. tug

Small world man!

Yeah-- are you familiar with the area?
--I lived in West York, then moved to Dallastown before coming to Phoenix.
--I used to go to the Jefferson Hillclimbs to watch the cycles and party.....big party.
Spring Grove....... very smelly town. Home of Glatfelter papermill.
Very small world!!!!

Yeah, that's it! You can't smell the papermill from the house. That I am sure of!

Hey copper-- Between West York and Spring Grove there is a little town
called "Seven Valleys". There is a lot of off-roading on the outskirts of that town.
Take road "616" south from West York--- there is a newly constructed bridge
before you get to Seven Valleys. Right before that bridge, go right (or west).
There are a lot of trails back that road, as well as a free public shooting range.
If you go over the bridge there is a trail on the same side (west). At the pull-off
look for a trail extending from it, some awesome wheeling there. I used to take my CJ
on that trail a lot! Enjoy!!
