Personally I would keep the embem there, since the "JEEP" is missing from the tub. Gives it a bit of contrast. Most people wouldn't know anyway. Anyway if you decide you would rather just replace the fender try to get one from out west where rust isn't a problem. You have to figure shipping into the price but you get OEM quallity if the seller is honest.
