I just sold my 97 Jeep and bought an 02 Jeep with some perks added to it. Here it is, let me know what you think

If it had a soft top and half-doors I'd say WOW.....(just a personal preference...:?| ). As it is, I'll just say WOW!!! Looks great! Looks like it would rather not be on pavement, if it had it's choice! Have fun!! Nice ride!!

What rear axle does it have?

I am guessing a 35, only cause I don't see a sport or 4.0L decal on the side, but just a guess.

A 35 what? It has 35" tires with a 6" lift. The engine's an inline 6, 4.0 liter.

I believe that's a reference to a dana 35 rear axle (stock on most Jeeps).
Weaker axle than the Dana 44 (Rubicon and option on the X maybe????). Anyway, an axle that doesn't handle stress (more power, lower gearing - ie. more torque -, bigger tires, etc). It's got to do with both driving ablility and basic physics. My 35 and my 4banger have gotten along well so far, but it's one of those things you'll learn as you go along. When you hear a big "POP", I'm guessing you'll know...............the ol' 35 couldn't quite handle it!!!:lol: :lol: :lol: Isn't it great owning a Jeep!!!!!!:shades:
