ahh recollecting my first car. a '95 toyota corolla..with only 53,000 miles on it, well kept. too bad it caught fire under the hood, burnt everything under there to a crisp and was considered totaled ~good thing i didn't park in the garage. then my family did a rotation of cars, i got the jeep which was my dad's and he got a new car. so in the end it all worked out for the best :-D . although i must admit, when we first got the jeep (when i was either in 5th or 6th grade, about 9 years ago), i always did admire it ;-) .[addsig]

Sully, you're dad's right. "You're building your Jeep." Remember that! Jeeps are better built, than bought. This Jeep, you're getting, will be the start of many stories about your life. After all the work (that may or may not be needed) it's going to be YOUR Jeep. That's something to be proud of. I, too, wish I could have bought a cool car at 14 or 15 and worked on it til I got my license. Though, with me it would've probably looked like Blaine's from the movie "Better off Dead". Well, it would've looked like the car did at the beginning of the movie.[addsig]
