Ok, my friend has 3,000 for a jeep.. just so long as its running condition, and without major damages (rust on the chasis, etc). I think i've narrowed it down to a 70 something CJ, a 72 would be perfect, as you dont have to deal with California's strict ass emission laws :-x Now its time for your input, what should he b elooking for? Would he be better going with the YJ? Dealing with something 72 and newer is fine, but i would like your input for a base jeep that he can start with and begin to modify, for 3,000 or lower!
