I think I've decided on a Flowmaster 50 series but how do I know which one to buy? The Flowmaster website doesn't have anything listed for a 2004 Jeep.

Will this one work?

Am I right that the 50 series is not as loud as the 40s?

I always like the delta 40 but it ain't my Jeep. You should have 2.5 or 3 inch pipe correct? that should be what you go by. Pipe diameter.:)

When I search for a factory replacement muffler it shows a 2 1/4 diameter so I assume that is what I need to buy. Is there enough room under there to get any size muffler as long as the inlet and outlet diameters are correct?

Yes, Flowmasters are usually shorter than factory and about the same thickness. It may be worth your while to crawl under there with a yo-yo and measurize the stock one.

I went with the Borla catback. Just picked it up and it's perfect. I worried that it might be too loud or too "ricer" but I think it sounds just right. I'll try to post a sound clip if I get motivated.
