MSD Pro Billet Distributor AMC Inline 6 - Parts

My new (only about 2 years-old) Pro Billet Distributor for the Inline 6 somehow got some moisture under the cap. I live in Florida FYI. Anyway, after the Jeep (86 CJ 7) failed to fire, I checked the cap and found that the rotor is fried - literally. The rotor is melted and the cap compromised.

I know the entire part number is 8516, but can't find separate part numbers for the cap and rotor even on the MSD website. Does anyone have these part numbers? I appreciate it.

If i were you, i'd call the MSD support tech line and get the replacement rotor, then at the same time get the info. on what application this rotor was based from so that you would have a refference on what to ask for at Napa or other parts store to replace it in the future. Just my .01 opinion.
Since the rotor and cap is Fried , i would also ask the company if there is also any known issues similar to your experience. It's not a common to see a rotor melt down as you described. Something got exessively hot and caused this failure.
