It's tire time and I'm not sure what to get. I'm currently running BFG A/Ts, and they seem to do fairly well all around, but their wet traction seems to be really bad. I've had to pull off the highway in the rain because I was hydroplaning so bad. I attribute that to the fact there's no center channel in the tread design. Anyway, can anyone recommend a similar tire with better wet traction and good snow traction? Tire rack seems to indicate the Yokohama Geolander A/T or the Bridgestone Dueler Revo might be a better choice. I don't off road that much (maybe half a dozen times a year) so I'm not overly concerned with off road performance, but still want a tire that'll stand up off road. Any suggestions are welcomed.

I was very happy with the Goodyear Wrangler GSA's that came on my YJ. They have decent size voids when you get to 31" and larger, and they did pretty well offroad when aired down. They've got large grooves completely around the circumference so they may be the wet traction you're looking for.

If you are interested i na more aggressive tire, I run yokohama geolanders MT and they have a large void in the center and perform awesome in rain.

I've looked at those Geolander MTs and that's a little more aggressive than I'm interested in. As far as Goodyear, well, everyone I've talked to has told me not to go with Goodyear. These Bridgestone Deuler AT Revos are looking pretty good. From what I read they seem to have great on road manners as well as off road capability. A little pricey, but only a couple bucks more per tire, than the BFG ATs. Is anyone currently running this rubber on their rig?

I am a big fan of the Cooper Tire Discoverer line. I run the A/Ts on my surburban and they are great on wet pavement. They have a good lookin mud tire as well. Tug
