Mopar is the first to offer wireless charging.

I think this is pretty slick. You just put your cell phone in the center console and it charges - no cables or chargers needed.

Chrysler’s Mopar® division is making in-vehicle wireless charging available on the 2013 Dodge Dart, set to arrive this summer. The industry-first setup uses an integrated power bin, 8.27 inches by 9.5 inches by 3.25 inches, below the center stack; its charging grid is activated when customers place a battery-powered device in the bin (if the car is running). A phone case is required and included. The system (part number 82213216) retails for $200; installation is extra.

That is pretty cool. It will be better when the phone mfgs build that technology into the phone instead of having to buy a certain kind of case.

When you think of the Dart you really don't think of technological advancements.

Will it keep your coffee warm if you place your mug there?

Just what we need, endless texting. Why not put a keyboard on the steering wheel and a projected screen on the windshield.

Maybe the first US car. Wife's '12 Kia Soul does that along with handsfree through the factory radio.
