Moab Fins & Things in a stock Cherokee?

I have done Fins & Things in Moab twice in a TJ and have gently kissed the rear bumper slowly coming off of some the steeper pitches. I will be going back in the spring with 2 friends who would like to go and bring their stock Cherokees (one ZJ and one XJ). My question is does a Cherokee and a Grand Cherokee have excessive rear overhang (departure angle) for that trail? If you haven't done it in a Cherokee - what other longer wheelbase rigs have you run?

In a related question – How would a stock Cherokee do in Lockhart Basin? Thanks.

They've got a little less departure angle (not breakover angle, that's under the belly skid) but hey, gravity will help and they should have enough traction to drag the bumper a few inches.

I've never been to either locale so I can't comment there. Good luck.

Nice catch. I knew better. Thanks
