Hello, long time no see. I've been playing musical cars and now i have a keeper. I had a j-10, some one offered me a few bucks more that I paid so I sold and bought a cherokee and then a guy wanted my cherokee to help make his angry wife happy so he traded me his 1995 YJ that he just bought in which mad the wife mad. It has a 6"suspension lift, 1" body lift which im taking out ( i hate body lifts8)), 35s, 4cyl, 5speed. My prob is i just recently got my left knee blown out so driving a clutch is causing me lots of pain. Is there a auto transmission that I can do a direct trade with? I can find all kinds of info bout 5 speed but none on autos.

Very few autos found in 4cyl YJ's, most common in '95's and in TJ's. Hard to find.

you might be able to swap in an older toyota case.

Also an older chevy motor. I think the 4cyl CJ in the early 80's had auto's. it would take a bit of swapping parts and maybe one off parts to get it to fit, but worth the try
