This is embarrassing. 8) I have a BRAND-NEW Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. I was racing out the door to a football game — loading chairs, blankets. The phone rang, etc., etc., then I hopped into the Jeep and backed out of the garage — with the trunk still open. There's a small dent from the garage door apparatus and the paint chipped (about the size of a silver dollar). The worst part is the trunk will automatically open, but not close automatically — right before it does, it pops back open again. I can close it manually.
My question is this: Have any of you had trunk repairs like this? Any ballpark ideas of what it'll cost to fix?
