Lookup recalls for your Jeep by VIN (and see what you've missed)

The US Department of Transportation has rolled out a new feature that allows you to search their recall database using your Jeep's VIN, and see not only what recalls are available for your Jeep, but if your Jeep was fixed under that recall.

The free search tool lets consumers quickly learn whether a vehicle they are considering for purchase has a safety problem that has not been addressed. Recalled vehicles can be repaired without charge at franchised dealers.

I've been hearing alot in the media lately about "recall fatigue", and I suspect this will go a long way to help - if you can easily search and see what things apply directly to your vehicle.
