Looking for good seat covers.

I am looking for good quality seat covers to add to my Jeep (2001 TJ). I am looking for suggestions for something that fits nice and snug to factory seats and will not shift around, and weather proof would be a plus. Any suggestions of good and or bad experiences please let me know.
Thanks in advance,
Chip

I put a set of Smittybuilt neoprene set covers on my 2004 TJ, and they fit good. They were $169.00 through 4Wheel Parts with free shipping. They had a special where if you bought the front seat covers you got the back seat cover for free. I got the dark charcoal with the gray middle. they look good and weren't that expensive.

How does the neoprene stand up to weather? Can you just wipe them clean?

neoprene is what wet suits are made of I believe. I'd say it would absorb water if it rains and mud and stuff you could just toss em in the washer.

I've only had them on for a couple weeks, but already was caught in a down pour with the top down, and had to pull the carpet to access the plugs to drain the standing water, but the seats look fine! As mentioned above, they are washable.

I have the same seat covers, I've had them about 5 months now. I don't know if this is typical or just me but the tint of my windshield has faded the seat covers to a purple color -- not super noticeable but obviously different compared to the back seat, which is still the original gray and black.

That's good to know! Not that I really care if they fade (or get dirty) because I got them to prevent that from happening to the OEM seat covers, so better they fade and get soiled than the fabric they are protecting. :D

Thanks for all the suggestions and experiences. I think I will be shopping for some high quality neoprene tight fitting covers. Gotta say the Jeepz.com is a great site.

I've got the neoprene ones too. I had them on for about five minutes and unfortunately, snagged the back side when I was loading for a trip.....seems like it ripped very easily. From then on, I've been real careful about not snagging them. Other than that, I love em!

I ran Wet Okole for nearly 5 years till my habit of turning my arse to swing my feet out shredded the seat cover. I was going to order a new set when I found Best top seat covers there a non-neoprene style with a micro fleece covering. I thought these would hold me till I find a new set of wet okole's but three years now and...

My Wet Okole held up for 8 years, and the rear seat cover is still in great condition on the back seat, 11 years old or so.
