Liberty aftermarket wheel backspacing

I have a 2002 Liberty and am thinking about a 2.5" lift. If I do this, I was wondering what options I would have for backspacing on a 16x8 or 15x8 wheel. I will probably go with a 255/70/16 or a 255/75/15 tire (about 30.1" I believe). I have seen wheels that I like with backspacing from 3.625" to 4.5". Is this in the right range?

I'm not sure about the backspacing; I think the stock rim backspacing is between 5.5 and 5.75.

You may encounter problems with a 15" wheel though. A few people have tried this and posted mixed results. I've read that steel 15s will fit, but aluminum 15s won't. The problem is the brake calipers.
