I recently read that some jeep owners were not giving the wave to the owners of the new four door unlimiteds.They were saying that only the two door jeeps were worthy of the wave.I on a wrangler and Im waving to tj,cj cherokees and even the compasses.We should all be proud of the fact that we all bought american and celebrate that.Not to mention the fact that were having a blast in these things.Keep waving!

If anyone waves to me then I'll happily wave back but I'll only initiate it to other wranglers (I'm including all swb jeeps in that) 2 or 4 doors. I rarely get waves back from the 4 door drivers. Maybe they'll catch on eventually.

I don't think I'd ever wave to those minivans called Jeep Compasses. Yuck... they might as well just revive the Plymouth Voyager and rename it Jeep Voyager. Ok, maybe not that bad.

As far as the four doors not waving back, they probably don't know what they have yet. I'll wave at any Jeep with straight axles and a nicely built rig whether it be a Sammy or a Toyota.

I wave to, but don't get any response from those 4 door guys. Most of the time, the other guys in the TJ's, Yj's , Cj's etc.. are already waving before I can even get my hand up. :shades: We need to just keep naggin those new guys, they'll start sooner or later.

when i had my 88 wrangler,i'd wave to all jeep owners..only ones that would wave back were other wrangler owners.people driving anything else just kept driving by..Hmmm

If you want to wave at everybody, get you a bike that look's like a Harley from 10 miles away and everyone will wave you. You'll be so tired of waving after a while.... That's what happened to me. I'll still wave at another Jeep when I'm in mine, but I've noticed that people in newer Jeep's don't wave as much. That's funny to because I gave up my new TJ so I could get my old CJ.
