That particular J8 has the driver seated on the right side. Perhaps that one was made for the Egyptian military? (Read in the article that these will be built in Cairo, Egypt) Also noted the leaf spring u-bolts in the rear are exposed at the bottom. No winch, either. Looks like the engineers need to include some aftermarket parts and take notes from some of the seasoned Jeepers already in the field :lol:

A diesel, heavier axles, rear leaf springs, a snorkel and filter for 30" water fording and 5 hours of desert sand, beefed up frame, 2 door, extended bed option, heavy bumpers with tow points...

Sounds like the Jeep the should have built in the first place. Well I think it sounds awesome right up until I saw it was to be made in Cairo
