Jeep Junkyard?

Does anyone know of any Jeep junkyards near Illinois, Indiana, Kentuck, Ohio, Wisconsin, or anywhere around there? I was thinking about just building a Jeep from scratch. Thanks a lot. -Mike

i would be very interested if one is found in Ohio

I think your best bet is finding one in any junkyard worth scavenging(sp?) from

the junkyard I visit has a:

'84 Scrambler (donated alot of itself to me

)

'81 CJ-7 (was a plow jeep,VERY rusty,donated a little)

'70's CJ-7 (trash)

the front end remains of a CJ

2 Full size Cherokees (both trashed)

3-4 XJ's (also trash)

3-4 Commachees

and a Jeepster! (trash)



around our part of the woods (North East Area)we use salt on the roads during winter.Salt enjoys 2 things:Snow and Metal

there is one in Lexington, KY called auto truck recycler.. off manchester street.



they get stuff from all over the world.. good stuff, little rough, but good prices.
