The limited edition Jeep Wrangler Arctic first shown at the recent Frankfurt Auto Show is coming to Canadian Jeep dealerships in November and it’s coming with a new companion model, the Jeep Liberty Arctic.
The Wrangler is based on the Sahara trim level and includes a modular body-color Freedom Top hardtop and body-colur fender flares, “Arctic” badging and a decal on the hood. It also gets the tire and wheel package from the Rubicon featuring semi-gloss black 17-inch wheels and 32-inch tires. The Wrangler Arctic will be offered in Winter Chill, Bright Silver, and Bright White.
The Arctic’s interior comes with black cloth seats with vinyl bolsters, Polar White accents and Arctic Orange piping and accent stitching. The front seats are heated and feature an “Arctic” logo in the seat back. Arctic Orange accent stitching can also be found on the steering wheel, arm rest, and console lid. Door trim and nets are accented in Arctic Orange, and all grab handles and dashboard vent rings are finished in Polar White trim. The package is topped off with Mopar tread pattern slush mats with white “Jeep” lettering.
The specific package codes are JKJP72 (Wrangler) and JKJP74 (Wrangler Unlimited); suggested retail price is CDN$3,000 for either version.
According to information received by Allpar, this will be a very limited edition: there will be just 80 Wrangler Arctics and 320 Wrangler Unlimited Arctics.
The Liberty Arctic is based on the Liberty Sport and includes a black hood decal, 16-inch aluminum wheels painted semi-gloss black, blacked-out headlamps, and “Arctic” badges on the front fenders. The package also includes P235/70R16 OWL all terrain tires, deep tint glass, fog lamps, and tow hooks. Available colours include Winter Chill, Bright White, Bright Silver and Mineral Grey.
Liberty Arctic’s dark slate grey seats are covered in a unique Tectonic fabric with Polar White accents featuring an “Arctic” logo in the seat back. Power, heated driver and passenger seat are accented in unique Arctic Orange piping and accent stitching. Media Centre 430 with 6.5-inch touch-screen radio (RBZ), premium 9-speaker Infinity audio system, and Mopar tread pattern slush mats with white “Jeep” lettering round out the Liberty Arctic package.
The package code is KKJL74; the suggested retail price is CDN$2,500.
