JB Conversions' Super Short SYE - Opinions?

I'm thinking about getting a JB Conversions super short SYE, since I've heard that's the way to go. Anyone have experience with them, or know of a better product?

I have several local club mates that run JB's SS SYE, I asked them and none had anything bad to say about it.

I run a super short SYE from PORC with no problems. You shouldn't have any issues with JB's.

I talked to the guys at JB and they are out of the super short SYEs until mid December. I don't really want to wait that long. Anyone have a good alternative?

Bounty, is this what you have:

and if so, did you have to do anything extra to get your speedo working (i.e. reading correctly with larger tires)?

I decided that I couldn't wait another month and a half so I pulled the trigger on the PORC SS SYE. Should be here in a week or so.

Yes, that's the SS SYE that I run. I use the Universal Speedometer Signal Interface to correct my speedometer with the optical speedo pickup. I run 2 different size tires (35" radials onroad, 36" bias offroad) so being able to adjust the speedo is a plus.

I've never had a problem with the optical speedo pickup, but if it goes bad it's the same one found on TJ Rubicons.
