Well, it is the First Paycheck after my last part of the down payment of my 03 TJ. This weekend I expect to add Front Tow Hooks and Hopefully 4wheelparts will have my Windshield header in stock. Then will come Fog lamps and possibly a brush guard, if I can find one that allows for Fog lamps.

One question about Bumpers I would like opinions on. Which should I look into. Dual Tubes front and rear with Hitch reciever on rear, or should I just take normal Tubes and add a Draw-tight. Should I just ditch Tubulars for the Brush guard that I mentioned earlier?

Another Question on Wheels and Tires. I currently have the Stock Alum Wheels and Shoes. I want the replacements to extend beyond the fenders but not so far that I can knock the car next to me off the road. I was thinking 15X8 Wheels what would you suggest for Shoes?

Wish me Luck. One month ago I bought a convertable, now it is time to build it into my Jeep.[addsig]

I have the double tube rear with a receiver hitch on my jeep right now. It works good for a little luggage rack that I use to carry deer when hunting. Its all dinged up on one side from when I flipped it, so I'll be replacing it sometime, but not for a while. Its a goiod design and looks great on the back. There are some picutes of it on my site http://www.enter.net/~tarsics/jeep/jeep.html

I have an offer for a Single Rear bumper with Hitch. (Free) is what the guy said and that stuck out in my mind. :-D but Now that I know it looks Decent with Tubes on the Rear and OEM front I will just do that till I can get my Bull Bar. Thanks for the Picks.[addsig]

Tube bumpers aren't real practical, especially for wheelin. If you pull from the rear receiver, you bend the bumper brackets and frame crossmember up from the leverage of having the receiver so low.

The front tubes usually interfere with the tow hooks.[addsig]

Had Tube bumpers and I will 100% agree with Bounty Hunter, They bend and do all sorts of things when ever pressure is applied. I have a rock bumper from Olympic Products that I bought out of essentials, had it now for 2 years, no rust, looks the balls and has out performed anything else I have owned. It has a 2 inch reciever that is designed for both recovery and towing, I tow a 20 foot bass boat with it and have never had a complaint! On the front I run a Manik brush guard on a currie rock crawler bumper with D rings. real nice set up.[addsig]

oh ya, If you have factory aluminum wheels, chances are they are 15x8 unless they are the ecco wheels or the grizzly wheels. The gamblers, canyons, and moabs are all 8 inches wide. If you want your wheels to stick out, you have to change the back spacing!
I think most factory wheels run in the 4.5 - 5.5 inches of backspacing area. If you get a set of after markets like AR39's (the black 8 spoke) They can accually come in a 0 offset which will stick your wheels out far.
BUT CAUTION If you put really wide wheels on fatory axles, you will prematurely wear out your axle bearings and seals.[addsig]

I took the Wheels Plus Group, so I have 15X7 Wheels. Kind-of sucks seeing as how I only want 15X8s and some 31 swampers.[addsig]
